At Nuvida Hair Studio Salon the health and safety of our members and staff is our top priority. Amid the growing concerns around corona virus, we are taking additional steps to be extra vigilant. This is an evolving situation and we are monitoring it closely to ensure all proper precautions are being taken to ensure everyone feels safe.  We should be closed and exercising social distancing. This would be difficult on you and the staff. We will do our best to stay open for as long as we can.

We now have reduced hours, but may have to close if instructed by the government, or if there is a local outbreak, or if we have consensus to do so by our staff. We will send out a text message if we do so.

Our daily cleaning procedures are already very thorough, however given the current situation, we are elevating our cleaning practices to keep our studio a safe and welcoming space. We are requiring all employees to wash their hands before and after each appointment, upping our supply of disinfectant for tools, and doing more thorough deep cleans after-hours. We have also set up hand sanitizer dispensers  and asked sick employees to stay home.

We encourage you to follow these best practices to help keep yourself and others healthy:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
  • Stay home if you are feeling unwell.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then discard the tissue in the trash
  • Keep disinfectant with you
  • We ask you keep conversations to a minimum to avoid airborne droplets
